The Cultural Sisters: The Cultural Sisters have been commissioned by the Community and Learning Partnership for Newcastle under Lyme and Clayton to deliver a creative project in schools, focussing on themes of community cohesion and friendship. This blog will document the project. The Cultural Sisters is a participatory arts organisation, established and based in Stoke on Trent since 1995, working creatively in community, education and health settings with people to provide inspiring and innovative learning experiences. We have a core group of five professional artists who manage, design, and deliver creative projects, workshops, consultations and events. We also have a network of creative practitioners who we work with in partnership to meet the requirements of specific projects. With over fifteen years experience in the field of participatory arts we are passionate about the creative processes we use and develop, as effective tools for engagement and enriched learning, with people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
